Real attitude doesn't come from what you wear--it comes from what you do. What you do and how well you do it depends on precision snowboarding gear like Ride's expert-oriented Alpha MVMNT snowboard binding. It packs all the best innovations found in Ride's other snowboard bindings and brings everything together without weighing you down with flashy graphics and bulky bling. The Alpha MVMNT features Ride's Movement (MVMNT) Chassis System, a durable design made from lightweight aluminum for outstanding response that adds mobility in all directions. The chassis sidewall rides a bit higher than most snowboard binding designs, creating better leverage and adding more flex along the baseplate. Ride cored the chassis to the deck for freestyle-oriented versatility. The Alpha MVMNT also features Ride's UltraLite Highback, the lightest highback made by Ride. Like the FlexLite Highback, the UltraLite uses an ergonomic shape that provides excellent support where you need it, but the UltraLite has more of a minimalist profile to shave extra grams. Ride optimized the fit and feel with Ride's Mobility System on the straps, but while other high-end MVMNT bindings have a Mobility Core Ankle Pad, the Alpha MVMNT has a Mobility Gel Ankle Pad for unsurpassed fit conformity. This added padding doesn't just improve the fit, it also enhances the response with better contact points along your boot. Along the straps you'll find Ride's Revolver Grip-Zone Ratchet closures, a patented barrel ratchet design that provides four to five clicks per throw, a cranking performance that Ride declares is the most powerful available in the industry. The Revolver Grip-Zone Ratchet release system is even faster than before and allows for smooth exits in seconds. You'll also find Ride's Convertible Grip Toe Strap, so you can cinch down the fit over the top or in front of your snowboarding boots. The Convertible Grip offers the advantage for centering over the toe of the boot without having to worry about tools, so you can adjust the fit on the slopes without breaking out the portable snowboard tools. Beneath everything you'll find Ride's new Urethane Rollbar Basepad to help neutralize unsettling vibrations at high speeds. It's everything you need for a major attitude adjustment this season.
