More info, description, features and specifications
When you need to carry a substantial load day after day, rain or shine, the Arc'teryx Bora 65 backpack delivers with a fabulously comfortable suspension system, innovative WaterTight zippers to seal out nasty weather, and logical features to make life in the backcountry easier. The suspension, two 6061 aluminum rods attached to an HDPE framesheet in a V configuration, form the nucleus of what feels like a custom made fit once all the components combine to do their part. A thermoformed hipbelt, constructed from four laminated layers of variable density foam, attaches at the base of the V, forming a pivot point that allows the hips to naturally rotate without the weight of the pack impeding this motion. Two flexible composite rods also attach to the framesheet, and the pack bag too. Their job, when placed under tension, is to transfer the weight to the best load bearing areas of the body via the cushy hipbelt and dual density shoulder pads. The Arc'teryx Bora 65 backpack also features WaterTight zippers that are lighter and less bulky than traditional zippers that need flaps to keep the weather out. These innovative zippers, along with tough 420-denier Ripstorm and ultra tough 630-denier Superpack nylon create a highly water resistant shelter for your stowed camping gear. The Arc'teryx Bora 65 backpack efficiently carries all the tools of the trade, whether for climbing, backpacking or ski mountaineering. If something is difficult to access from the top of the pack bag, a handy full length WaterTight side zip makes a quick dive to the depths of the pack a breeze. Exterior pockets include a removable floating top pocket that converts to a fanny pack and a super functional kangaroo pocket with drain hole to quickly stash wet, dirty items or use as a receptacle for readily accessible gear. For oversize loads the Bora 65 extends, adding over 600 cubic inches of capacity.
