A Spylon water repellent finish helps keep the droplets from consolidating and saturating the pores. Unlike some ski hooded ski jackets, the Challenger Jacket has a temporary rollaway hood that cleanly tucks into the elevated collar. This configuration works well for kids who ski with helmets and don't require a hood in all but the most extreme downpours.
