Outbound Crown Backcountry Skis '06
A durable cross-country ski for those heading into the backcountry for the first time. Also fits into most groomed tracks for cross-country touring. Full-length metal edges for additional control and turning power on packed, icy snow. Fischer "cuts" (instead of presses) the Crown grip pattern into the durable sintered base to provide long-lasting grip and consistent glide over the life of the ski. Ultra Tuning ensures that the base is absolutely smooth and flat. Core consists of multiple layers of poplar and ash laminated together, with strategic air channels milled out to decrease weight and optimize kick and glide.
