Wild Ferenc iron path - Suhardul Mic
Wild Ferenc iron path - Suhardul Mic 0.6 km away. While I climbed the new iron path mostly in the dark for the first time, this time I managed to explore it during the day. But I still missed the sunset by a few minutes.
Wild Ferenc memorial path - Suhardul Mic
Wild Ferenc memorial path - Suhardul Mic 0.7 km away. In recent days, this news has been everywhere: the via ferrata route built on the southwest wall of Suhardul Mic (Little Suhard) has finally been completed and inaugurated. The new route has been named after Ferenc Wild, in memory of the former mountain rescuer, sports writer, and one of the founders of the mountain rescue association in Gheorgheni.
Waterfalls of Lapos creek - Bicaz Gorge
Waterfalls of Lapos creek - Bicaz Gorge 2.5 km away. One of the lesser-known attractions of the Bicaz Gorges is the series of waterfalls along Lapos Creek. This creek flows between Cupas Stone and Bardos Stone before eventually merging with Bicaz Creek, forming spectacular waterfalls beneath the Altar Stone.
Poienii Rock, north-eastern lookout point - Bicaz Gorge
Poienii Rock, north-eastern lookout point - Bicaz Gorge 2.9 km away. From the viewpoint at the top of the northeastern wall of Poienii Rock in the Bicaz Gorges, we can look down 300 meters to the mouth of the Bicajel stream. The Bridge of the Hungarians is hidden among pine trees.

Other places

White Drin waterfall Drini i Bardhe (White Drin) waterfall.
Hias via ferrata Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein The Hias via ferrata in the Silberkar Gorge (Silberkarklamm) is the first of the three via ferrata routes, and perhaps the easiest to complete. Two cable bridges and a few trickier sections make it interesting, but it is truly impressive due to the view of the narrow gorge.
Big Cave Nochevo Kodzha in (Golyamata Peshtera, Big Cave) - Nochevo.
Roman bridge Nenkovo Along the Borovitsa River, near the village of Nenkovo, there is a Roman Bridge. It connects the two banks of the Borovitsa River.
Ski resort Poiana Brasov Postavarul Mountains 137 km away. Shining sun and an Austria-feeling on the impeccable slopes of the ski paradise Poiana Brasov above Brasov. Sunbathing, coffee and refreshing drinks on the terrace of Julius Römer chalet.
Devils Bridge Ardino The Devil's Bridge (Dyavolski Most, in Turkish Sheytan Kyupriya) is located in the gorge of the Arda River, just north of the town of Ardino in Bulgaria. It was constructed in the early 16th century, between 1515 and 1518, by an architect named Dimitar, on the remains of an earlier Roman bridge.
Goats Ledge iron path Ramet Gorge 186.9 km away. Via ferrata Goats Ledge (Brana Caprei) iron path - Ramet Gorge, Trascau Mountains.
Balea waterfall and the Transfagarasan mountain_road 158 km away. Balea waterfall and the Transfagarasan mountain road - blue triangle marked trail, Balea valley, Fagaras Mountains, Southern Carpathians.
Small Via ferrata Rasnoavei Gorge 140.3 km away. In the past few days, it has snowed, so I climbed the two climbing routes in the Rasnoavei Gorge under winter conditions. While the lower part of the challenging Big via ferrata was dry, the upper section had patches of snow and icicles.
Womens Spiral, Cave Ridge, and The Great Crack iron paths Baia de Fier 237.8 km away. Perhaps the most interesting via ferrata among the routes in the Baia de Fier area is the Womens Spiral. After completing it, I can say that it is the second most thrilling via ferrata in Romania, following the Big Via Ferrata at Rasnov.
The Bears Jump iron path Baia de Fier 237.8 km away. The Bear's Jump (Saritoarea Ursului) is a fantasy-named via ferrata that opened in May 2018 near Baia de Fier, alongside the Middle Belt (Spirala Medie). Both routes begin from the G zone of the rock face that conceals the Women's Cave (Pestera Muierilor).
Giant Ice Cave Dachstein Salzkammergut, Obertraun am Hallstättersee The second cave accessible to the public at the Schönbergalm above Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt is the Giant Ice Cave (Rieseneishöhle). For me, it was more spectacular than the Mammoth Cave.
