Via ferrata Ernesto Che Guevara - Italia - video

Via ferrata Ernesto Che Guevara - Italia - videoPlay
The Che Guevara via ferrata is the longest iron climbing route I have ever climbed. There is a 1400 m level difference from the starting point to the peak of Monte Casale.

It is not so difficult, but it is a quite challenging endeavor to climb almost continuously on sunlit rock walls, which can be tough here and in the summer. Especially for someone who is used to the Szekler thermal temperatures. :-)

Instead of the recommended 4 liters, I only brought 1 liter of drinking water with me. It proved to be very little, but I survived. :-) Returning to the starting point is quite complicated and long lasting.

However, it is worth exploring this route, because during the climb and at the summit, there is a wonderful view of the mountains around Lake Garda and my favorite this year, Lake Toblino.
