Siega via ferrata - Silberkar Gorge, Ramsau am Dachstein
The Siega via ferrata, categorized as a C/D level of difficulty, is perhaps the least interesting of the three via ferrata routes in the Silberkar Gorge (Silberkarklamm). This doesn't mean that it's not good, just that the other two are even better.
Via ferrata Rio Sallagoni - Drena, Italia
The surrounding iron climbing routes are located on rock walls exposed to a scorching sun. But the Rio Sallagoni via ferrata goes upwards in a pleasantly cool gorge, above the creek and waterfalls, and eventually reaches the Drena Castle.
Middle Belt (Spirala Medie) via ferrata route - Baia de Fier
In May 2018, two new via ferrata routes were inaugurated in Baia de Fier. Both start from section G of the rock face hiding the Women's Cave (Pestera Muierilor), and their initial stages are shared.
Iron path in winter - Harghita Madaras
This is already the sixth time I've climbed the via ferrata route set up on the rocky cliffs of Seii Peak near Harghita Madaras. Although the forecast suggests that the weather should be nice, I am greeted by a sky covered in clouds.
Play Wall via ferrata park - Mariazeller via ferrata, Felix's Ladder to the Heaven, Devil's Bridge
Located only ten kilometers from the town of Mariazell, you'll find the via ferrata park known as the Play Wall (Klettersteigpark Spielmäuer). Here, we find three via ferratas: Olivers Mariazeller Steig (B/C), Felix Himmelleiter (D), and Tristans Kirchbogensteig (C).
Iron path - Harghita-Madaras

Small Via ferrata - Rasnoavei Gorge
In the past few days, it has snowed, so I climbed the two climbing routes in the Rasnoavei Gorge under winter conditions. While the lower part of the challenging Big via ferrata was dry, the upper section had patches of snow and icicles.
Hias via ferrata - Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein
The Hias via ferrata in the Silberkar Gorge (Silberkarklamm) is the first of the three via ferrata routes, and perhaps the easiest to complete. Two cable bridges and a few trickier sections make it interesting, but it is truly impressive due to the view of the narrow gorge.
