Amateur filming in Harghita-Madaras, holding the camera by hand in the car, and helmet-mounted on the via ferrata. I climbed an iron path for the first time in my life on the Nyerges cliffs (Stancile Seii), I didn't have the right equipment yet. That's where I fell in love with climbing.

The Ski Gyimes ski slope is located in Lunca de Sus, right next to the main road. It is 800 m long, the level difference is 160 m. There are two lifts that takes you up to an altitude of 1060 meters above sea level.

The Heart of Jesus look-out - Lupeni 28.18 km away
Through the mud on Gordon Mountain, above Farkaslaka (Lupeni commune, Harghita county, Transilvania), on a cloudy afternoon, at the end of February. The destination is the Heart of Jesus lookout, nicknamed as Pléhkrisztus (The Tin Christ).

Schulter Anstieg klettersteig Hoher Dachstein, Austria 917.48 km away
Two iron paths lead to the top of the Hoher Dachstein. The Randkluft is shorter, but can only be reached through a glacier with cracks. It is dangerous to reach the starting point, that's probably why it was closed now.

While the first time I climbed this via ferrata in the morning, now I climbed it in the light of the setting sun. The red-dressed rocks created a special atmosphere, and I could admire the sunset from the top of the climbing route. Although I prefer the sunrise more, because it lasts longer. :-)

Spirala Medie iron path Baia de Fier 200.41 km away
In May 2018, two new via ferrata routes were inaugurated in Baia de Fier. Both start from section G of the rock face hiding the Muierilor Cave, and their initial stages are shared. The Bear's Jump (in Romanian, Saritoarea Ursului) leads vertically upwards. The Middle Belt or Middle Spiral (in Romanian, Spirala Medie) connects the former to the Big Spiral via ferrata route.

Mammuthöhle Dachstein Salzkammergut, Austria 910.4 km away
The first station of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car, which starts in Obertraun, in the southern part of Lake Hallstatt, is Schönbergalm. Here you can find the Ice Cave and the Mammoth Cave. The latter is not named after the now extinct relatives of elephants, but rather because of its enormous size.
