The spherical concretions from Feleac are sedimentary rock materials that were cemented together to form a hard structure. The surrounding sediments slowly erode away, exposing the concretion.
The Rock Gate and the Red Bay - Rezovo (8 photos)
The Rock Gate (Skalnata porta) and the Red Bay (Cherveniat zaliv) are located at the southeastern end of Silistar Beach. Here, two massive rock formations rise from the water, forming a gate.
Pricopanului ridge - Macin Mountains (61 photos)
Pricopanului ridge is the secondary, but imposing ridge of Macin Mountains, characterized by huge granite formations, lofty rocks and wide sceneries all around. The landscape, as well as the relief is of mountain type, and even if the height of the ridge is apparently small, the ascending effort is slighty sustained.

The Veleka beach is located northwest of the village of Sinemorets, at the mouth of the Veleka River, which it bypasses from the west. At the southeastern end of the seaside beach, there is a cliff, which, when viewed from the west, resembles a human head profile, and from the east, resembles a pharaoh's mummy.

In 1949, the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was designated as a national park due to its natural features, forests, and geomorphologic structures. The main purpose was to protect the largest and best-preserved forest complex in Dalmatia, which was at risk from excessive exploitation.

The Wooden Ladders - The villages of Scarisoara and Inelet, Cerna valley
Scarisoara and Inelet are small, isolated villages located in the mountainous region of Banat. They are situated on the right bank of the Cerna River, approximately 19 km away from the Baile Herculane resort.
Krushuna waterfalls - Krushuna
The Krushuna Waterfalls are a series of karst cascades formed in travertine. They are located near the village of Krushuna, not far from the town of Lovech, and are Bulgaria's largest waterfall of this type.
Varghis gorges in winter
I went out to admire the ice stalagmites (standing icicles) in the Varghis Gorge. Anyone arriving here at the end of winter can observe meter-high ice stalagmites in the entrance area of Meresti Cave (now known as Orban Balazs Cave).
Corcoaia Gorge - Gorj county
The Corcoaia Gorge is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the Cerna Valley. It can be reached by car, 43 km away from Baile Herculane, of which about 17 km is on a dusty gravel road.
Rhein Gorge - Flims, Switzerland
The Rhine River (in German, Rhein) originates in the Swiss canton of Graubünden at the Oberalppass and flows into the North Sea at Rotterdam in the Netherlands after traveling 1,324 km. The Rhine Gorge, also known as the Swiss Grand Canyon (in Romansh, Ruinaulta), winds for 14 km between 350 m high white walls.
Waterfalls of Lapos creek - Bicaz Gorge
One of the lesser-known attractions of the Bicaz Gorges is the series of waterfalls along Lapos Creek. This creek flows between Cupas Stone and Bardos Stone before eventually merging with Bicaz Creek, forming spectacular waterfalls beneath the Altar Stone.
Bovska Skaklya waterfall - Iskar gorge
The Bovska Skaklya waterfall is located near the town of Svoge in Bulgaria. The waterfall formed on the Zaselska River has several reported heights online (120 m, 85 m).
TV-radio amplifying station - Harghita Ciceu
The hiking trail marked with a blue stripe starts at the Uz Bence shelter and runs from Harghita-Bai to Harghita Madaras. Our destination today is the Harghita Ciceu plateau.

Byala Reka eco-trail - Kalofer
The Byala Reka eco-trail is situated at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain range, 8 km from the town of Kalofer. A 1,830-meter-long hiking trail has been established along the White Creek within the Central Balkan National Park.
Five Fingers, World NATURE Heritage Lookout, World Heritage Spiral, Dachstein Shark
The second station of the cable car departing from Obertraun is the Krippenstein peak (2100 m). Here you can find the famous Five Fingers (5fingers) lookout, which offers a unique view of Hallstatt and Obertraun below, as well as the Hallstättersee lake.
