The Pharaoh and The Sphinx rock formations - Veleka Beach, Sinemorets (12 photos)
The Veleka beach is located northwest of the village of Sinemorets, at the mouth of the Veleka River, which it bypasses from the west. At the southeastern end of the seaside beach, there is a cliff, which, when viewed from the west, resembles a human head profile, and from the east, resembles a pharaoh's mummy.
The Devils Bridge - Wegscheid, Austria (18 photos)
The Devil's Bridge, Teufelsbrücke in German, is located just ten kilometers from the city of Mariazell, near the Klettersteigpark Spielmäuer via ferrata park. From the top of the via ferrata park, it is worth taking a detour to the Devil's Bridge, which is located near the starting point of the descent path.
Paklenica National Park - Croatia (55 photos)
In 1949, the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was designated as a national park due to its natural features, forests, and geomorphologic structures. The main purpose was to protect the largest and best-preserved forest complex in Dalmatia, which was at risk from excessive exploitation.

Cascada Beusnita, located in the Caras-Severin county, is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Anina Mountains. The water falling from a height of approximately 15 m, into a clearing in the middle of the forest, creates a uniquely picturesque landscape.
Dragons Garden - Galgau Almasului (20 photos)
The natural reservation site Dragon's Garden (Gradina Zmeilor, Sárkányok kertje) from Galgaul Almasului is located in Salaj County, in the Western Carpathians. This natural playground is made up of interesting and unusual sandstone formations, an ensemble of 10-12 m high towers with strange figures cut in sandstone by the wind and water erosion.

The Veczer Rock is located 3 km south of the village of Ariusd, on the southern slope of the place named Veczer. The tall hill is encircled by the Olt River, with conglomerate rocks resembling giants stretching above the river.

Amazing Bridges - Zabardo
The Amazing Bridges (Chudni Mostove, Wonderful Bridges) are natural stone bridges. They are located in the Rhodope Mountains, in the Smolyan Province of Bulgaria, within the valley of the Erkyupriya River, at an altitude of 1,450 meters above sea level.
Trift valley, bridge, lake and glacier - Gadmen, Switzerland
During the hike in Trift Valley, I experienced cloudy and gloomy weather with intermittent rain. Here is the 170 m long Trift Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps, in a breathtaking environment, 100 meters above the Trift Glacier Lake.
Borov Kamak waterfall - Zgorigrad, Vratsa
The Vratsa eco-trail starts from the village of Zgorigrad, located 6 km from the city of Vratsa in Bulgaria, and ends at the Parshevitza hut. It is also known as the Zgorigradska or Borov Kamak eco-trail.
Eagles Eye - Yagodina
Orlovo Oko (Eagle's Eye) is a lookout viewpoint located in the Rhodope Mountains, near the peak of Saint Ilia and close to the village of Yagodina, Bulgaria. The steel structure, built at an altitude of 1,563 meters, rises 670 meters above the spectacular Buynovsko Gorge, along with the winding river and road that traverse it.
Stone Mushrooms - Beli Plast
The Stone Mushrooms (Kamenni Gabi) nature reserve in Bulgaria is situated east of the village of Beli Plast, along the road that connects Kardzhali to Haskovo. Spanning an area of 3 hectares, the reserve is home to several mushroom-shaped rock formations.
Rhein Gorge - Flims, Switzerland
The Rhine River (in German, Rhein) originates in the Swiss canton of Graubünden at the Oberalppass and flows into the North Sea at Rotterdam in the Netherlands after traveling 1,324 km. The Rhine Gorge, also known as the Swiss Grand Canyon (in Romansh, Ruinaulta), winds for 14 km between 350 m high white walls.

Devils Mill Gorge - Campulung Moldovenesc
The Devil's Mill Gorge is relatively short, measuring only 60 to 70 meters in length. It was formed in yellowish-gray-white dolomite by the work of a stream that crosses the gorge, as a result of erosion and the dissolution characteristic of limestone.
With snowshoes in the Tihu creek valley - Rastolita
We met geotrekking treasure hunters from Gheorgheni, Miercurea Ciuc and Targu Mures in Rastolita. We entered the Calimani Mountains with an off-road vehicle, along the Rastolita and Tihu streams.
Snow-covered valley of Balea and the Transfagarasan in winter - The ascent
The Fagarasi Mountains can be easily approached from the north, mainly by using the Transfagarasan Road. This high altitude mountain road is only accessible during the summer months (throughout its entire length).
Preachers Rock - Bodoc Mountains
In the Bodoc Mountains, west-southwest from the Henter peak, we find a rock formation shaped like a mushroom by erosion, called Preacher's Rock. This 2-meter high rock probably got its name from the pagan Hungarian priests, who preached here in the past.
Poienii Rock, north-eastern lookout point - Bicaz Gorge
From the viewpoint at the top of the northeastern wall of Poienii Rock in the Bicaz Gorges, we can look down 300 meters to the mouth of the Bicajel stream. The Bridge of the Hungarians is hidden among pine trees.
