Ruins of the Harom fortress - Jigodin Bath (10 photos)
The Harom Fortress was built around the beginning of the 12th century and was part of the system of fortifications that protected Transylvania from the east. It is located south of Miercurea Ciuc, east of Harom Peak, which has an altitude of 1079 m, near the southwestern limits of Jigodin Bath (Baile Jigodin).
The Rock with a Hole - Corund (6 photos)
The Likas Stone (The Rock with a Hole) is located near Corund, on a meadow next to the road and four graves. In the middle of the conglomerate rock block, there is a perfectly drilled, heart-shaped hole.
Round rocks from Viisoara - Berzunti (12 photos)
Round rocks are quite a common curiosity, apart from those in Costesti, Valcea county, there are numerous other locations with similar rock formations. The round rocks from Viisoara are located northwest of the village, at a distance of approximately 700 meters from DC152 road.

The Pharaoh and The Sphinx rock formations - Veleka Beach, Sinemorets (12 photos)
The Veleka beach is located northwest of the village of Sinemorets, at the mouth of the Veleka River, which it bypasses from the west. At the southeastern end of the seaside beach, there is a cliff, which, when viewed from the west, resembles a human head profile, and from the east, resembles a pharaoh's mummy.

Doabra Stones - Brezoi, Lotru Mountains
The DN7A road branches off west from the Olt Valley, from the main road between Sibiu and Ramnicu Valcea, leading towards Voineasa and Lake Vidra. The first settlement is a small town, Brezoi, which is located at the confluence of the Lotru and Olt rivers.
Devils Mill Gorge - Campulung Moldovenesc
The Devil's Mill Gorge is relatively short, measuring only 60 to 70 meters in length. It was formed in yellowish-gray-white dolomite by the work of a stream that crosses the gorge, as a result of erosion and the dissolution characteristic of limestone.

During the hike in Trift Valley, I experienced cloudy and gloomy weather with intermittent rain. Here is the 170 m long Trift Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps, in a breathtaking environment, 100 meters above the Trift Glacier Lake.
Borov Kamak waterfall - Zgorigrad, Vratsa
The Vratsa eco-trail starts from the village of Zgorigrad, located 6 km from the city of Vratsa in Bulgaria, and ends at the Parshevitza hut. It is also known as the Zgorigradska or Borov Kamak eco-trail.

The eco-trail known as the Canyon of Waterfalls is located in Bulgaria, within the Rhodope Mountains and the Soskovcheto Nature Reserve. It begins at the edge of the Sredoka suburb of the city of Smolyan.

The Seven Ladder Gorge is the largest and most spectacular gorge in the Piatra Mare massif. The narrow canyon has a length of 160 meters, and over a drop of 58 meters includes 7 bigger and several smaller waterfalls.
Handeckfallbrücke, Gelmerbahn, Gelmersee - Schweiz
Although the path from the Gelmerbahn parking bypasses the Handeckfall waterfall, it is worth descending a few steps from the valley station of the funicular, to reach Handeckfallbrücke. A 70-meter long suspension bridge that hangs 70 meters above the gorge, offering a spectacular view of the waterfall.
Byala Reka eco-trail - Kalofer
The Byala Reka eco-trail is situated at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain range, 8 km from the town of Kalofer. A 1,830-meter-long hiking trail has been established along the White Creek within the Central Balkan National Park.
With snowshoes in the Tihu creek valley - Rastolita
We met geotrekking treasure hunters from Gheorgheni, Miercurea Ciuc and Targu Mures in Rastolita. We entered the Calimani Mountains with an off-road vehicle, along the Rastolita and Tihu streams.
Skaklya waterfall - Vratsa
The largest seasonal waterfall in Bulgaria plunges down from a height of 141 meters. It is located in the Vratsa Mountain National Park, just one and a half kilometers away from the city of Vratsa.
