Beusnita waterfall (8 photos) 96.1 km away. Cascada Beusnita, located in the Caras-Severin county, is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the Anina Mountains. The water falling from a height of approximately 15 m, into a clearing in the middle of the forest, creates a uniquely picturesque landscape.

Billy-goat lake, Closed Gates - Retezat Mountains 104.1 km away. The most unique ridge trail of the Retezat Mountains is the Closed Gates.Below, at an altitude of 2070 m above sea level, is the Billy-goat lake.
Corcoaia Gorge - Gorj county 105.4 km away. The Corcoaia Gorge is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the Cerna Valley. It can be reached by car, 43 km away from Baile Herculane, of which about 17 km is on a dusty gravel road.

Rudariei watermills - Eftimie Murgu 107.4 km away. I have visited the twenty-two wooden water mills with horizontal wheels, located in the valley of the Rudaria stream, mostly in the rain and under an umbrella. Some of them are still in use today.

Womens Spiral, Cave Ridge, and The Great Crack iron paths Baia de Fier 171.5 km away. Perhaps the most interesting via ferrata among the routes in the Baia de Fier area is the Womens Spiral. After completing it, I can say that it is the second most thrilling via ferrata in Romania, following the Big Via Ferrata at Rasnov.
Giant fir trees Ghimes 336.4 km away. One of the lesser-known attractions of Ghimes is the two giant-sized common fir trees. They are 42 meters tall, and have diameters of 110 cm and 130 cm at chest height.
Giant Ice Cave Dachstein Salzkammergut, Obertraun am Hallstättersee The second cave accessible to the public at the Schönbergalm above Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt is the Giant Ice Cave (Rieseneishöhle). For me, it was more spectacular than the Mammoth Cave.
Parmak Kaya Nochevo, Panichkovo Between the villages of Nochevo and Panichkovo in Chernoochene Municipality, Kardzhali Province, lies Parmak Kaya (Finger Rock). The site features ancient carvings and rock formations within an old pine forest.
Abandoned copper mine Tsar Asen, Pazardzhik 435.6 km away. The turquoise waters of this mine lake are extremely beautiful but dangerously poisonous. Do not descend to the shore or touch the water!
Sky Walk, Suspension Bridge, Stairway to Nothingness Styria, Dachstein The Dachstein cable car (Gletscherbahn Panorama Gondel, Panorama Cable Car) took me up to a height of 2700 meters, to the highest mountain in Styria (Steiermark), the Dachstein. Next to the upper station of the cable car there are several tourist attractions.
Via ferrata Dachstein Gams Krippenstein, Obertraun am Hallstättersee The Dachstein Gams is a new via ferrata route on Krippenstein. It has three parts: Himmeleck (A/B), Gams (C), and Nordwand (E).
Via ferrata Shpellat Peja 367.9 km away.

Gornjak via ferrata and Kudelinovs fortress Zdrelo 170.1 km away. Difficulty level C/D, total length: 400 m, height difference: 330 m, year of construction: 2019, total length of the route to Kudelinov's fortress: 1100 m. Access to the via ferrata is free.
