Situated in Lika-Senj county, Croatia, Jablanac is a village located beneath the Velebit mountain, overlooking the neighboring island of Rab in the Adriatic Sea. In close proximity to Jablanac are the Velebit mountain and the Northern Velebit National Park.
The village used to have a ferry port, that connected it with Rab. During our visit in 2010, we embarked on the ferry from here, to reach the island. However, the ferry later moved up the coast to Stinica, in July 2012.

The Siega Klettersteig, categorized as a C/D level of difficulty, is perhaps the least interesting of the three via ferratas in the Silberkarklamm gorge. This doesn't mean that it's not good, just that the other two are even better. :-)
